PSA members are campaigning for a fair funding system that covers decent pay and conditions for disability, mental health and support workers - and quality services for clients. NGO support workers are hugely underpaid for the work they, mainly because the funding for services is inadequate. Low-paid workers are paying the price for this unfair system. So too are the people who rely on their services as poor pay makes it hard to attract and retain good staff.
