All PSA delegates are strongly encouraged to attend the PSA’s development programme. It has been designed to give you the basic skills and information you need to be an effective delegate.
The programme includes a two-day introductory workshop, four one-day workshops, and two half-day workshops. Paid leave to attend is available through EREL

Workshop 7: Creating a Positive Workplace: dealing with bullying
Half-day workshop
This course provides delegates with an opportunity to:
- identify what a safe and healthy workplace would look like
- identify key elements of bullying and harassment
- learn how to deal with bullying and harassment issues and practice doing so
- know what legislation applies and when and where a policy applies
- identify appropriate communication choices and practice making those choices
- identify workers' and managers' rights and responsibilities in relation to creating a healthy and positive workplace.
