There are three reasons to change your profile picture to support pay equity now:
  1. It shows we want to see pay equity for care and support workers.
  2. It's a chance to start a conversation with folk in your community who might not know about the claim and bring them in to support it.
  3. It's a short, sharp way to increase awareness and support from a wider layer of people to get behind the claim.

Here's how:

  1. Click the link at the end of this page that says 'Profile Picture for Care and Support Pay Equity'
  2. If you're on a laptop or computer, right click the image and save it. If you're on a phone or tablet, hold your thumb on the image until an option appears to save it.
  3. Go to your Facebook profile.
  4. Click the camera icon on your current profile picture.
  5. Click or tap ‘Upload photo’ or ‘Select profile picture’
  6. Select the image from where you saved it. On a phone or tablet the image will be in your photo gallery. On a computer or laptop this might be your downloads folder. The instructions might ask for access to your photos. Follow the instructions to allow access if you’re prompted to.
  7. Click save or publish.
  8. Boom! Your profile picture now supports pay equity.
