AIL of New Zealand Ltd (AIL NZ) has served New Zealand families since 1995 with life and accident insurance, and supplemental health benefits to help protect New Zealand families and the members of the New Zealand Unions, Credit Unions and Associations that we partner with. We provide protection for the most difficult times in life.
AIL NZ have a range of insurance products and benefits on offer, alongside Financial Advisers who are experienced at helping members find a product to meet their own personal circumstances. Their financial advisers develop long term relationships with members and meet you where and when it suits you.
AIL NZ policies are:
- guaranteed renewable.
- fixed rate premiums that do not increase as you get older.
- no increases if you make a claim on the health/accident components.
- no stand down periods to claim.
- sports injuries included (on top of ACC).
- full family coverage (including children).
- on & off work coverage.
- international cover.
AIL NZ provides PSA members an Accidental Death and Dismemberment Benefit at absolutely no cost, with no obligation. This benefit provides $1,500 coverage for each member, plus $500 cover on the member’s spouse and each child under 19 years.

AIL NZ is also offering an optional extra for PSA members - $10,000 Accidental Death Benefit for just $2 for the first year and with a guaranteed renewable every year thereafter for $5 per annum.

You and your family may qualify for additional Life Insurance and Supplement Health Benefits offered at this time.
AIL NZ is rated A (Excellent) for overall Financial Strength (as of 8/23, AM Best) and their programmes are offered to help our members. Individual, Single Parent, and Family cover is available.
All cover is on/off work, international, has no occupational ratings, and benefits are paid in addition to ACC or other private schemes.
